As a high school student, I was lucky enough to win a scholarship to study abroad for a year. Back then, we only had small, low-quality digital cameras available, of which I was able to bring one with me. However, limited memory card space and lack of computer software to manage the photos at the time meant I had to be very selective of when I chose to capture moments. My experience as an exchange student was life-changing, and I've always lamented my inability to immortalize so many of those memories. How I wish I could revisit those days with photos! Because of this, I vowed to never let important moments go un-photograohed, which is why I decided to take up photography.

My time abroad also awakened my wanderlust. I've now lived in 3 different countries, recently making the Netherlands my new home.  I couldn't be more grateful to live in such a beautiful and friendly country. I can't wait to see where my photography journey takes me from here.
